Good morning, everyone. It's a great honor for me to stand here and introduce myself. My name is Li Ming, and I am a new student in this university. Today, I would like to share a little bit about who I am.

I come from a small city in the north of China. Growing up there, I learned the value of hard work and perseverance. My parents are both teachers, and they always encouraged me to pursue my dreams and never give up. Thanks to their support, I have always been passionate about learning and exploring new things.

In high school, I was not only focused on my studies but also participated in various activities. I joined the school’s English club, where I improved my speaking skills and made many friends. I also took part in some public speaking competitions, which helped me gain confidence and develop my communication abilities.

Now that I have entered university, I am eager to learn more and challenge myself. I hope to improve my English further and maybe even study abroad in the future. I believe that language is not just a tool for communication, but also a bridge to understanding different cultures and people.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books, especially novels and science fiction. I also like playing basketball and listening to music. These hobbies help me relax and keep a balanced life.
