Today I am very happy to stand here and give a speech. My name is Li Ming, and I am a student in Grade 3. I want to talk about my favorite subject — English.

English is a very interesting subject. I like it because I can learn new words and speak with people from different countries. Every day, I try to practice speaking English with my friends and my family. Sometimes I watch English cartoons and sing English songs. It makes me feel excited and happy.

I also like reading English books. They help me improve my vocabulary and grammar. Although sometimes I find it difficult, I never give up. I believe that with more practice, I can speak English better and better.

In the future, I hope to travel to many countries and meet new people. I think knowing English will help me communicate with them and learn more about their cultures.

So, I want to encourage all of you to study English with interest and effort. Let’s work together and make our English skills better!
