One day, there was an English competition in his school. Many students signed up for it, but Jack was not confident. He thought, "I'm just a regular student. Can I really win?" However, his teacher encouraged him, saying, "Jack, believe in yourself. You can do it!"

With the teacher's support, Jack practiced every day. He learned new words, practiced speaking, and even recorded himself to check his pronunciation. Finally, the big day came. Jack stood on the stage, nervous but determined. When he finished his speech, the audience clapped loudly. He won third place!
